Evgueni I. Ivanov

Chairman of the Board CJSC Polyus

Born in 1966 in Razgrad, Bulgaria.

Graduated from the State Finance Academy. Major – International Economic Relations.

After the graduation he worked in the banking sector, including the State Bank of the USSR, and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

In 1997 he came to work in Unexim Bank, where he created and headed Precious Metals Department.

In 1999 – 2000 he worked as Vice-Chairman of the Rosbank, being in charge of the relationship with the clients.

In 2000 Evgueni Ivanov became the Chairman of Rosbank, and in the 2003 – the bank’s President and Chairman of the Board.

In March 2004 Evgueni Ivanov was appointed President of CJSC Polyus .

Since 2006 till May 2007, since October 2007 till December 2010 - General Director (CEO) of OJSC Polyus Gold.

Since October 2008 till December 2010 - General Director of CJSC Polyus.

Since August 2009 - General director KazakhGold Group Limited,  Chairman of the Board KazakhGold Group Limited.
